Reducing your GPU Temp's with Arctic Cooling.

Today were looking at how to reduce your Graphic Card's temperature. It's now seen today that water cooling is the way to go with high spec'ed machines as it's the best way of cooling. But people with low money and low spec's tend to avoid this and get stumbled by the variety of air cooling options. Well RBS decided to buy an Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo. This was for our GPU model of the 9800gt which certainly needed some cooling!

Samsung SyncMaster P2250 22" monitor: Ideal for PC Gaming

I started with a dell 22" monitor and thought wow what a size. Because 22" is actually quite big. Then as my desk space grew i found space for dual monitor support on above the other. This is brillant for multitasking, because as you can see in the image i was playing on crysis whilst on Twitter. I don't just use it for gaming though. Although its perfect with DVI and VGA ports with a resoloution of 1920 x 1080 which is HD straight for gaming. Read

 

Spotify is the New itunes!

Just about every computer owner is going to come across itunes once in there life and there going to have a high quality experiance with it. But after all years in development P2P programs like Limewire have appeared to give your free music which itunes just couldn't offer. For one it was illegal and also quality on limewire wasn't great . These were 2 things that itunes had, Legal and best quality. So as we move from limewire to itunes we can see the clear differnce in quality and functionality. The album artwork, the playlists, Genius, High bitrate, Movies, tv shows, podcast, the lists go on and for music a price of 79p. Read

This weekend at rbs there will be a review on the new dual monitors that has been installed recently. These monitors include a dell 22" monitor and a more modern Samsung Sync Master 22" monitor, both for my pc. This review will include what you can do with dual monitors and also the difference between the two monitors. So in other words a review in each of the products.

Also this week were reviewing the Inno3D 1GB nVidia 9800GT Graphics Card which has also been installed. We will go over the difference between this and the standard graphics card that came with my inspiron 530 (8600GT). And finally we will go over overclocking of the graphics card by using nTune (nvidia). We will show where to start and stop with overclocking including recommended software to test your system throughout the overclocking. This software includes SpeedFan and CPU-Z which both measure temperature from the sensors within your PC!

Then we shall look to see how more memory (RAM) is better than the standard PC installed.

These will be done this time as the camera has been fixed!

Shi No Numa release with Map pack 2.

Call of Duty world at war has bounced back with Map Pack 2 of its Online Franchise. This Time maps include 3 multiplayer maps, Banzai, Sub Pens, Corrosion and also one zombie map called Shi No Numa. Lets see about Banzai Map.

Banzai is a forest, tropical and explosive map which really tests your gameing skills! Its not just a map of normal grounds it also includes up's and down's with caves and cliffs which are perfect for rifles and smg's. This is a team objective match where mainly the Bridge of Banzai and the caves play an important role.

Sub Pens is based in the shipyards of WW2 where empty cargo ships are just waiting to be battled for. This is a dark, Smg based map where its particullary interesting if you play headquarters as the enemy could come from any angle. The Map is represented as a base for all the ships where there just ready to set off to war.

Corrosion is in the mines were crates of Gold? or Sand or whatever is being collected here. Its Bright so its clear where the enemy could be at any time. But the main thing that stands out from this map is the different way that you could approach the objective's. Overall CTF was played best on this map with some lovely ways to steal the flag but if your an S&D fan then go no further than corrosion.

Now for the review of Shi No Numa the Japanese swamp for you and your team mates to send the zombies to hell. You start as a character from the story With the original colt and basic weapons on the wall. The objective for us is to obviously kill zombies but to mostly follow the random box to whatever locations or HUTS the Teddy takes it to, as this happens quite spontaneously. As usaul when start the begining rounds you kill these zombies with your Gewehr's and Now Ariska's but from round 5-7 you get 1 round of flaming dogs that attack from anywhere. They can respawn infront of you and can kill you in three bites but are easy to kill in a team of four. Once again as rounds go on you have to move from the swamps to the huts discovering some new features of Shi No Numa. EG a zipline for quick escape, Traps, orginal electric fences in the huts and of course the new Wunderwaffle DG-2. Each hut includes weapons one of which is a Type 100 which is new to zombies but as you go on you need to make use of these new features and traps. In these huts are also Perks a cola machines which when you open the door the machine randomly decides which machine its going to be but they have stayed with the original 4 Perks. This edition of zombies is of course dark and dangerous but is easy as zombies are slower than verruckt. This Map Pack 2 has certaninly shown MP1 whos best as this is double as fun as the previous version.

Everyone knows there operating system after awhile and most likely it is to be a Windows based software. But as I've discovered the Vista OS and the XP OS can get a little bit drery. Have you ever poped round a friends or a collegues and seen a different operating system and thought wow i could use that! Well with such programs of Vista OS X 09' and Rocketdock you can! Wii Fit Has Arrived At RBS!

Wii Fit has arrived at the RBS station and im telling you its definatly smart, friendly and powerful controls using the Wii Balance Board. You start off filling in vital information about yourself like Age, Height and D.O.B it then gives you a Basic Balance test which to be honest isn't everyones cup of tea! After those tests it calculates all things you've done using your Actual age and the Balance test it then gives you a Wii Fit Age which goes lower than 15! and also your BMI from Underweight to Obese. Call Of Duty World at World: coming soon is a RBS First Video Review of this new fantastic game featuring Online Play, Offline Play and of course the New unlockable 'Campaign' mode called Nazi Zombies which is well you and up to 4 players online, split-screen offline try to stay alive in the airfield house while being attacked by constant waves of zombies. The more kills the more points which means you can buy weapons from your points that you've earned. LittleBigPlanet and Pure Demo Reviews!

RBS have done a small, demo review of two creativly designed games, Pure and LittleBigPlanet. Both offering bisare storys and outlines but what really stands out is the thought and creativity that was put into these to games. Although its created by Disney the game still more exciting than Motorstorm, infact its Motorstorm with a hint of SSX Tricky. LittleBigPlanet Is a game in which creativity is the main factor.
